GreenMachine test rider Gerrit Hoff rides to the North Cape

Our test rider Gerrit Hoff made a journey from Holland to the North Cape on his 6 year old GreenMachine, trailer attached, from the 16th of May 18th of June. A remarkable achievement.

Just before he left, Flevobike mounted a 20- tooth rear sprocket instead of the standard 18 tooth version. This causes the gear ratio to be about 10% lower. Travelling with a trailer through the hills turned out to be a good test. Gerrit has had almost no troubles with his GreenMachine during his travel, apart from a flat tire on his trailer a few times. He is on his way back home by boat right now.
